MY JOURNEY TO ROME

I sailed from Britannia in a trusty ship, Corbita.

Before long the Gods grew angry and Neptune stirred and roused the sea and darkened the sky

Then the Gods fought and the sky was lightened by the the bolts of fire they threw

But then the Gods got bored with their games and turned back to more enjoyable pursuits leaving us free to sail on to Ostia
