Cash Box

While setting up a home page, you may notice in your Study that you have a "Cash Box."  Each day you log in, the AncientWorlds treasury credits your account with "sestertii" the Roman unit of currency.  These operate like Pepsi points - save these up and you will be able to apply them to the cost of joining Groups and buying properties in 'Hoods and, in due course, to other benefits. You will want to note that the daily credit increases for each day within each week when you log in: in short if you log in every day in each week the amount you receive is substantially increased. Patrons get more!

Please note that you may find different spellings of the plural form.  The version used here is sestertii which is that used in the Wikipedia entry on the sestertius.

Q: How do I make money?
You earn sestertii (site money) by logging in every day. Each day you log in, you get a certain amount of sestertii. The more you login per week, the more cash you earn. Also, the higher your membership level, the higher your pay.

Q: Where can I spend my site money?
At the moment, the only places you can spend your site currency at are (1) joining or creating groups, (2) S.P.Q.R., the game and, (3) buying an avatar from the available avatar shops.
